If it's not Ramadan, the Cyclone opens at noon, and is a cheap sports bar until 7 p.m.
From 7 p.m. until 10 p.m., there's a cover (more for men than women), but nothing going on.
After 10 p.m., the cover is the same, but the Cyclone is full of young women.
A website (banned in the UAE) giving tips on where to go to meet prostitutes says there is more action in the Dubai hotels than in the Cyclone.
Which just goes to show that you can't believe everything you read on the Internet.

my boyfriend is now in dubai on hoiday with his friend, i have many issues with how many prosstitues are around dubai and i am very affraid if a prozzie gets the best of if u now what i mean? i am scared of him catching anything and passing it on to me even though i hope he will use some sense and stay away from them. i dont understand this country because if they are so strict with alcohol in the country why bring in prosstitiues its just rong.
Dubai and Abu Dhabi are sleazy excuses for cities. I lived and worked there for several years. We were visited by many overseas executives, workers etc. They ended up spending more time with prostitutes than working, children in candy stores. I hope they all took back to their wives some disease. The locals were just as bad. Hypocritical Moslems that drank, chased prostitutes and generally were a disgrace to both their religion and humanity. Might sound strong, but these places really are lipstick on bulldogs. Unfortuneatly, they have oil, making it almost impossible to criticise. A question, given that the Christian world is facing problems with Moslem extremists, how come they dont bother a pit like the UAE which in fact laughs in the face of their values but is supposed to uphold them.
Even i am a MUSLIM. I feel very sad when i see all these things. U must understand abt Arabs is that
1) They think they are going to HEAVEN cuz they are muslims
2) They think just cuz god is happy with them thats why God gave them OIL
hahahaha. Instead Allah says in Quran 67:2
And we have created u in order to test which of u is best in deeds.
So Money is good which they got free but that same blessing could be a curse to them i. e for those who follow their lusts in the wrong way.

@Jim & all I am from Dubai and I am so surprised of what you have mentioned, because for someone who lived in UAE you would know that the majority are not like what you have described.
Unfortunately everyone comes to UAE and hardly meet any citizen, gives himself or herself the right to judge us while they know nothing about us.
Extremists are extremists, whether they were so called Muslims or not, and we are fighting all of them. We (Muslims) are always wrongly accused of violence "because it works in someone's or even more favor", however listen to yourself Jim; Instead of saying that Dubai have fought crime and terrorism successfully you were wondering why we weren't attacked by terrorists, was that a wish? How nice!!!
Just a note to my fellow Muslim Syed, Dubai does not have a drop of Oil and in here locals work hard to make a living, not all of us have golden spoons in their mouths.
Yes, unfortunately we have prostitution and alcohol and other filthy activities that have nothing to do with Islam but I along with the majority of UAE citizens are not using them.
