For it's size, The UAE based banks are pretty large. As a proud employee of NBAD, I can see how large the bank is from the inside, as opposed to say... I dont know, RAK bank.
That being said, I used to be a Wells Fargo customer in the US, and it is beyond huge.
Also, please note that Abu Dhabi actually owns large chucks of banks such as Bank of America and Citi.
